Microsoft AI Specialist
- Design, build and implement AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Copilot Studio

We’re looking for an experienced Microsoft AI Specialist to join a large enterprise environment delivering practical AI and automation solutions across the organisation.
This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who has genuinely worked across the Microsoft AI ecosystem, taking AI use cases from initial idea and proof-of-concept through to implementation and scale.
You’ll work closely with engineering, architecture, data and business teams to identify opportunities, build solutions and integrate AI capabilities into existing enterprise platforms.
Location: Parramatta (2 days/week in office)
Length: 6 months (extensions highly likely)
Rate: $950-$1050/day + GST (including Super)
What you’ll be doing
- Design, build and implement AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Deliver GenAI, Copilot and agent-based use cases from POC through to production
- Work with business stakeholders to identify, assess and prioritise practical AI opportunities
- Integrate AI solutions with existing data, applications and enterprise platforms
- Work alongside architects, data engineers and developers to deliver scalable solutions
- Support the implementation of responsible AI, governance, privacy and security requirements
- Monitor delivered solutions and identify opportunities to improve and scale them
- Help uplift AI capability and adoption across the broader organisation
What You'll Bring
- Strong commercial experience with Azure AI Foundry
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Experience delivering solutions using Azure OpenAI / Generative AI
- Experience building AI agents, copilots, RAG solutions or intelligent automation
- Strong understanding of the broader Microsoft Azure ecosystem
- Proven experience taking enterprise AI use cases from concept through to implementation
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Understanding of Responsible AI, governance, security and risk considerations
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Power Platform would be highly regarded
This isn’t a traditional Data Science or research-focused position. We’re looking for someone who understands how to apply AI to real business problems, can get hands-on with the technology and is comfortable working across both technical and non-technical teams.
