Our Opportunity
Location: Solomon - Fortescue’s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.
Roster: floating 8D6R (in-line with scheduled shutdowns) - FIFO ex. Perth
Bring your mechanical fitting skills to Fortescue’s Solomon operations, where you’ll help maintain the fixed plant equipment that keeps production moving. This is a hands-on role for a safety-focused tradesperson who enjoys solving problems, working with pumps and contributing to a supportive team.

Qualifications and Experience
- Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade certificate.
- Experience in a fixed plant processing environment, ideally across wet and dry plant.
- Practical familiarity with pumps and related equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A reliable, safety-focused approach and the ability to work well as part of a team.
