Meat Wrapper - Part Time
- Part-time position requiring a minimum of 24 hours per week.
- Involves operating machinery and ensuring food safety standards.
- Requires attention to detail and ability to provide customer service.
Job Duties/Essential Functions
•Inspects and reassembles equipment sanitised previous night
•Reworks display case and rotates merchandise
•Takes large trays of packaged meat from large wheeled rack and places individual packages into automatic wrappingmachine
•Follows safety and security procedures
•Labels merchandise and puts wrapped and labelled merchandise in display case
•Operates meat grinder
•Follows proper department production procedures and standards for quality and consistency of finished merchandise
•Cleans and sanitises area throughout the day•Performs duties to comply with health code
•Performs routine maintenance for machinery, equipment
•Follows Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of allequipment required by this position
•Completes and complies with 11 Commandments of Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification, and all safetytraining required by warehouse and Meat department
•Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary
•Provides and ensures prompt and courteous member service to members, employees and vendors.
Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery
•Commercial grinder, wheeled racks, wrapping machine and pressure washer.
Qualifications (Costco-specific or industry specific skills that candidates should possess)

High School Certificate None Meat wrapping or comparable experience Attention to detail
