MC Operator Maddington

We are currently recruiting experienced MC Road Train Drivers for both day and night shift positions, with experience operating side tippers and/or end tippers.
With earnings of $3,500-$4,000 gross per week, these positions offer a great long-term, local opportunity with the benefit of being home every day or night.

About the Role:

DAY SHIFT - Maddington Depot:

• Monday to Saturday, 5 shifts per week
• Approximately 13.5-15 hour shifts
• Double road trains with side tippers, hauling lithium
• Pocket road trains with end tippers, hauling salt
• Depart from the Maddington depot and travel to Southern Cross for WA Salt or Mt Holland for lithium
• Load at the mine site and return to the Maddington depot
• Shift is completed upon return to the depot

NIGHT SHIFT - Maddington Depot:

• Monday to Saturday, 5 shifts per week
• 12-14 hour shifts, commencing from 1:00 pm onwards
• Double road trains with side tippers, hauling lithium
  • Two trips from Maddington to the Bunbury depot
• Pocket road trains with end tippers, hauling salt
  • Salt deliveries throughout the Rockingham and Kwinana areas
• Drivers will be required to unload using side tippers; training can be provided
• Drivers must be confident reversing, breaking up trailers and tipping off when assigned to salt runs

Requirements:

• Current MC licence
• Current Commercial Driver Medical, or the ability to successfully pass one
• Current Fatigue Management Certificate
• Minimum 2 years' road train driving experience
• Previous side tipper and/or end tipper experience
• Strong understanding of safe operating practices and fatigue management
