Marketing Specialist

Cofinet wishes to employ a full-time Marketing Specialist to lead our high voltage marketing and branding operations in Marrickville Sydney. Salary offered is $80K to $90K plus superannuation, depending on the skills and experience of the candidate. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified. Skills requirement are Bachelors in Management / Marketing or related field, and at least 12 months of relevant, at level in related industry.

Duties to be undertaken

• Develop and implement Cofinet’s marketing strategies to strengthen brand positioning, increase market share, and support business growth objectives.

• Undertake market research and analyse industry trends, customer behaviour and competitor activities to identify opportunities for Cofinet’s business expansion.

• Establish and maintain strategic commercial relationships with coffee roasters, distributors, and industry stakeholders to enhance market penetration and customer retention.

• Identify and develop new market segments, customer acquisition opportunities and partnership initiatives to support revenue growth.

• Advise management on market conditions, product positioning, pricing strategies and customer demand patterns to improve commercial outcomes.

• Design and execute Cofinet’s business development initiatives, promotional campaigns and customer engagement programs aligned with organisational objectives.

• Coordinate client engagement activities, product demonstrations, customised events and industry presentations to promote products and strengthen brand awareness.

• Collaborate with suppliers and key stakeholders to develop value propositions and tailored solutions that meet customer and market requirements.

• Monitor sales performance, customer feedback and market intelligence to evaluate the

effectiveness of marketing initiatives and recommend improvements.

• Prepare marketing reports, market analyses and strategic recommendations for Cofinet’s

senior management to support decision-making.

• Represent the organisation at industry events, trade exhibitions, conferences and networking forums to generate business opportunities and enhance corporate presence.

• Develop marketing and promotional materials ensuring accuracy, consistency and

alignment with Cofinet’s brand strategy.

• Evaluate the performance of marketing activities and business development programs

against established objectives and key performance indicators.

• Maintain strong industry networks and identify emerging trends, products and opportunities to support ongoing business growth and competitive advantage.
