We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused Manual Sorter with a forklift licence to join a busy recycling and waste processing operation. This role offers excellent hourly rates, consistent afternoon shifts, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

About the Role
Working within a recycling and resource recovery facility, you will be responsible for a combination of forklift operations and manual labour tasks to support the efficient movement and processing of recyclable materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a forklift safely within an industrial environment
- Moving cages, bins, and recyclable materials throughout the facility
- Performing manual labour, including handling and repositioning collection bins beneath sorting areas
- Sorting recyclable materials before processing
- Monitoring machinery and identifying when sufficient product is ready to form a bale
- Following all site safety procedures and operational requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience sorting recycling or working in a waste environment
- A current and valid Forklift Licence (LF)
- Previous experience operating forklifts in an industrial, manufacturing, recycling, or waste environment (preferred)
- Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout your shift
- Excellent reliability and punctuality
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic

- Exposure to rubbish and recyclable waste materials
- Wet and dirty conditions at times
