Manitou Operator / Materials Handling Coordinator A leading construction company is seeking an experienced Manitou Operator and Materials Handling Coordinator to join their team in Canberra on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is a hands-on role that combines equipment operation with site coordination, offering a competitive salary of $40–$50 per hour + superannuation. You'll be responsible for managing materials movement across active construction sites, ensuring safety compliance, and working closely with site teams to keep projects moving efficiently.

• Operate Manitou telehandlers and manage materials handling across busy construction sites

Preferred Requirements

• Current White Card and valid driver's licence
• Telehandler ticket or verified competency in operating telescopic materials handlers
• High Risk Work Licence qualifications as relevant to the Manitou configuration (CN, DG, or WP certifications depending on role scope)
• Demonstrated experience operating Manitou or similar telehandler equipment on construction sites
• Strong understanding of site safety protocols and load management best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in telehandler operation and materials handling
• Experience working on multi-trade construction sites or in a coordinating capacity
• Additional High Risk Work Licences (CN, DG, WP) or will
