Management Accountant

Immediate start for an experienced Management Accountant to join an innovative product-based business

Your new company
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Management Accountant to join an established technology and product-based business on an ongoing temporary basis. With an immediate start available, this role will suit a hands-on accountant who is confident taking ownership of month-end processes while also supporting costing, process improvement and broader transactional finance activities.

Your new role
Working closely with the broader finance and operational teams, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting function.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the full end-to-end month-end process, including preparation and posting of journals
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
• Assisting with product costing and BOM development and rationalisation
• Reviewing and documenting finance processes and procedures
• Supporting improvements to existing accounting processes and controls
• Assisting across accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll when required
• Providing general accounting and finance support to the wider business

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll be an experienced Management Accountant or Financial Accountant who is comfortable working in a hands-on environment.Ideally, you will have:

• Strong end-to-end month-end accounting experience
• Solid balance sheet reconciliation experience
• Previous exposure to product costing, inventory or BOMs
• Experience within manufacturing, technology, product-based or similar operational environments
• Strong Excel and systems skills
• A practical, adaptable approach with the willingness to support across the wider finance function
• The ability to start at short notice
