About the Opportunity

An established food manufacturing operation in Tullamarine is currently looking to bring on a skilled Maintenance Fitter. This role offers stable, long-term employment on day shift, with consistent overtime and a clean, safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and reactive maintenance on production equipment
• Identify mechanical faults and implement effective repairs
• Work closely with production teams to keep operations running efficiently
• Complete planned maintenance activities in line with schedules
• Ensure all work complies with food safety and site hygiene standards
• Assist with equipment improvements and reliability initiatives

What You’ll Bring

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical or Maintenance Fitter
• Previous exposure to food manufacturing or other hygiene-controlled environments is advantageous
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Awareness of food safety practices and clean work environments
• Ability to manage your workload independently while contributing to a team
• Reliable attitude with clear communication skills

• Permanent, full-time position
• $58 - 65 per hour
