Role Details

Join Visy Pulp & Paper - Smithfield, where you’ll contribute directly to site reliability, equipment performance and continuous improvement. This is a full-time permanent role on a day shift (7am - 3pm) Monday to Friday with overtime available.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work across a wide range of wastewater treatment equipment, completing mechanical maintenance and fault-finding activities in a fast-paced environment. Your work will support critical work including chemical pumps, dosing equipment, water testing and compliance reporting.
- Perform preventative and breakdown mechanical maintenance
- Diagnose and repair faults on pumps, motors, dosing equipment and filtration systems
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Monitoring water treatment systems and chemical levels
- Conduct risk assessments and promote safe work practices
- Collaborate closely with electrical, production and operations teams
