Are you an experienced Locomotive Driver or qualified Driver Assistant looking for your next opportunity in the Southern Highlands?

Trojan Rail is recruiting experienced train crew for our casual Blank Line roster based in Moss Vale, NSW. With over 20 years in the Australian rail industry, Trojan Rail provides skilled train crew to leading rail operators across the country.

What You'll Get

• Locomotive Drivers: $83.63 per hour plus applicable penalties and superannuation.
• Driver Assistants: $71.41 per hour plus applicable penalties and superannuation.
• Casual Opportunities: Varied shifts based on operational requirements and your availability.
• Local Opportunities: Based in Moss Vale, supporting freight rail operations in the Southern Highlands.
• Supportive Team: Work with an established rail workforce provider that values experience, safety and reliability.

What We're Looking For
We want to hear from qualified, experienced train crew who are confident working in freight rail operations.

Locomotive Drivers

• Certificate IV in Train Driving or recognised equivalent.
• Previous freight locomotive driving experience.
• Relevant NSW safeworking qualifications and competencies.
• Current route knowledge and competency highly regarded.

Driver Assistants

• Previous experience as a qualified Driver Assistant.
• Relevant rail and safeworking competencies.
• Experience in freight train operations.
• Current route knowledge and competency highly regarded.

Essential Requirements - All applicants must have

• Ability to meet Category 1 Rail Safety Worker medical requirements.
• Ability to meet applicable drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Current unrestricted Class C driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Valid Australian working rights.
• Availability for shift work, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• A strong commitment to safety, teamwork and following rail operating procedures.
• Successful applicants must complete the required onboarding, verification of competency and operational requirements before commencing duties.
