Are you an experienced Locomotive Driver or qualified Driver Assistant looking for your next opportunity in the Hunter Valley?
Trojan Rail has supported Australia's rail industry for over 20 years, providing experienced train crew to leading rail operators nationwide.
We are seeking qualified and experienced train crew to join our casual Blank Line roster based in Greta, NSW, supporting freight rail operations.

What We Offer
- Locomotive Drivers: From $82.69 per hour, plus applicable penalties and superannuation.
- Driver Assistants: From $70.59 per hour, plus applicable penalties and superannuation.

What We're Looking For
We are seeking experienced rail professionals who take pride in their work and have a strong commitment to safety.
Locomotive Drivers
- Certificate IV in Train Driving or recognised equivalent.
- Previous experience operating freight locomotives.
- Relevant NSW safeworking qualifications and competencies.
- Current route knowledge and qualifications will be highly regarded.
Driver Assistants
- Previous experience working as a qualified Driver Assistant.
- Relevant rail qualifications and safeworking competencies.
- Experience in freight train operations.
- Current route knowledge and qualifications will be highly regarded.
All Applicants Must Have
- Ability to meet Category 1 Rail Safety Worker medical requirements.
- Ability to meet applicable drug and alcohol testing requirements.
- Current unrestricted Australian Class C driver's licence and reliable transport.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Availability for shift work, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
- A strong commitment to safe working practices and teamwork.
Successful applicants must complete the required onboarding, verification of competency and any applicable operational requirements before commencing duties.
