The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.
Got What It Takes?
- Certificate IV in Surveying and Spatial Information Services, Diploma of Surveying, Advanced Diploma of Surveying, or an equivalent/higher qualification.
- Experience may include engineering, cadastral, construction and infrastructure surveying; underground service location; GIS, GNSS, spatial data management, laser scanning, digital levelling, survey processing, set-out, monitoring and mapping.
- Applicants should demonstrate an ability to translate industry practice into vocational education and training outcomes.
- Understanding of Surveying and Spatial Information Training Packages and their application and able to lead quality process and continuous improvement activities.
- TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or currently undertaking), with a commitment to complete TAE40116/TAE40122 by February 2027.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
