Laboratory Technicians needed for client working

Your new company
You will be working with a major mining organisation known for gold production in Australia. This opportunity involves bus in bus out transport where you are paid for travel time.
Your new role
Working as a Laboratory Technician, your duties may include but are not limited to:

• Collect, receive, log, and prepare plant, exploration, and grade control samples for analysis.
• Conduct routine laboratory analyses including moisture testing, density determinations, cyanide analysis, carbon activity testing, slurry sampling, and metallurgical test work.
• Perform fire assay and wet chemistry procedures in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare samples through drying, crushing, pulverising, splitting, and screening processes.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including balances, furnaces, pulverisers, presses, and analytical instruments.
• Ensure accurate recording, interpretation, and reporting of analytical results.
• Monitor quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes, including standards, blanks, and duplicate samples

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience working as a Lab Technician in mining industry is essential.
• Certificate III or IV in Laboratory Techniques, Chemical Technology, or related discipline preferred.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• Senior First Aid (desirable).
