About the Role: Chahal Motors is seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our professional workshop team in Dandenong. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive repairs and maintenance on all makes and models in strict
- Accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Perform scheduled maintenance servicing efficiently and to a high standard.
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Complete all repair orders accurately within allocated timeframes.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations.
- Liaise with service advisors and customers clearly and professionally regarding repair requirements.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Qualification: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or an equivalent Australian-recognized qualification).
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience as a trade-qualified Automotive Technician.
Technical Expertise: Demonstrated strong diagnostic capabilities and extensive hands-on experience with varied makes and models.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Teamwork: A proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet workshop targets.
