The Opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel (HD) Mechanics to join our client's project based near Mandurah.
This is a great opportunity for trade qualified mechanics with proven experience maintaining and repairing heavy earthmoving equipment.
Working on a 9:5 roster with 11 hour days, this role is suited to candidates who live within a reasonable travelling distance of Mandurah, as there is no accommodation on site, the luxury of being at home every night!
Pay rates: From $68.98 - $72.83 per hour
About You
We are looking for experienced HD Mechanics who have:
- Relevant trade qualifications as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
- Proven experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment
- Experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing heavy mobile plant
- Experience working on equipment such as:
- Dump trucks
- Dozers
- Loaders
- Scrapers
- Excavators
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- A reliable work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- The ability to travel to and from the project, as accommodation is not provided, there are bus options from Mandurah or Bunbury available.
