Spring Grove Fresh Foods is a proudly Australian-owned food manufacturing business supplying premium products across the country. With operations spanning food production, cold storage, transport and distribution, the business continues to invest in its people, facilities and equipment to support ongoing growth.
We're seeking a practical problem-solver who enjoys fault-finding, repairing equipment and keeping operations running efficiently. Whether your background is as a Maintenance Technician, Auto Electrician, Maintenance Fitter, Service Technician or another electromechanical trade, your ability to diagnose issues and deliver solutions is what matters most.
About the Role
Based primarily at the Casino manufacturing facility, you'll provide maintenance support across processing, packaging, cold storage, transport and operational assets throughout the group.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to equipment breakdowns and minimising downtime
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, control system and pneumatic faults
- Maintaining and repairing production and packaging equipment
- Conducting preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections
- Supporting cold store and facility maintenance activities
- Coordinating and assisting specialist contractors when required
- Identifying and sourcing replacement parts
- Assisting with workshop, fleet, depot and general site maintenance
- Ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable and operational
About You
To be successful, you'll bring:
โ Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities
โ Experience maintaining machinery, industrial equipment, vehicles or manufacturing plant
โ Knowledge of 12V and 24V DC systems
โ Experience working with sensors, relays, switches, solenoids and pneumatics
โ Confidence using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters
โ The ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation
โ A practical, hands-on attitude and strong work ethic
โ The ability to work independently and prioritise urgent maintenance tasks
โ A current driver's licence
