A very well established, and incredibly supportive teaching practice, located in central Townsville is keen to hear from GP's who have reached FRACGP or will qualify early to mid 2027. A full-time equivalent position, with a lovely spacious room, will be offered to a GP candidate who would like to call Townsville home. A generous relocation package can be discussed, for an experienced candidate who is able to contribute for a minimum of 2 years. (Teaching others is optional)
Townsville is the largest major city in tropical Northern Queensland and the gateway to Australia's incredible Great Barrier Reef! It's located 4 hours south of Cairns and a short 20 minute drive to beautiful Magnetic Island. For GP's seeking a large, diverse patient base and engaging work—alongside significant weekly billings—this location is a perfect choice! GP's with an interest in skin cancer, women's health and general procedures will do especially well here.
For doctors who want to keep connected to family and friends interstate, Townsville Airport offers daily flights daily to BNE, SYD, MEL, CNS, MKY. Although this is Not a FIFO position, the clinic understands flexibility for home visits.
