General Hand

Our Sydney Depot is seeking a hard-working General Hand to assist one of the busiest depots in the country. This position is an opportunity join our industry leading transportation company and play a key role in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses to meet their transport needs.

Lindsay Transport is Australia’s largest fresh produce transporter, delivering temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centres.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform general labouring duties

• Organise and move supplies, assemble bags, package folders, and cartons

• Conduct forklift and warehouse tasks (if licensed)

• Load and unload sea and air freight shipments

• Review product packaging to maintain quality control standards

• Complete general site maintenance and cleaning tasks

What You Bring

• Have warehouse and pick, packing and stocktaking experience

• Have experience loading and unloading trucks

• Have refrigeration experience (preferred not essential)

• Be reliable and punctual with good communication skills

• Be able to adhere to transport documentation

• Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision

• A demonstrated commitment to safe work practices

• A Forklift licence is not essential but would be well regarded
