We are seeking like-minded Registered Nurses who actively apply evidence-based care and reflective practice to their work, and utilise effective communication to maintain safe care to join the Emergency Department team.
Key responsibilities:
- Commitment to delivery safe, effective and comprehensive nursing care
- Work collaboratively within the emergency healthcare setting
- Maintains a professional relationship and works comfortably within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
- Uphold and integrate the Healthscope STAR values into clinical practice
About the Company
The Hospital’s Emergency Department is a 9-bed unit, open 24/7 in the centre of Hobart City. It provides 24/7 medical, nursing and clerical services. The team prioritise a friendly and welcoming workplace, with a caring and professional approach to patient centred care.About You
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Working with Vulnerable People Tasmania check
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Good clinical decision-making and problem solving skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proactive, motivated and customer focused
- Proficient computer skills
Desirable Criteria
- Post Graduate Certificate or working towards Emergency Nursing (Desirable)
- Demonstrated experience working in emergency departments
- Advanced Life Support Certification
- Triage Certification or Evidence of (if at the level for triage).
