Ace Hotel Sydney is seeking a Front Desk Agent for our Rooms Division to manage the guest journey from arrival to departure. This position uniquely combines essential front desk operations with hands-on bell services, ensuring every guest’s experience is personalised, efficient, and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor to ensure a smooth, professional check-in and check-out process.
• Efficiently manage room reservations, modifications, and payment transactions through the hotel’s property management system (PMS).
• Provide concierge-level assistance by offering information on local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities.
• Assist with guest arrivals and departures by safely handling luggage, tagging items securely, and offering room orientation for first-time visitors and VIPs.
• Engage proactively with guests throughout their stay, acting as the main point of contact for tailored service, special requests, and inquiries.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, accompanied by previous experience in a front desk, guest services, or bell porter role within a luxury or 5-star hotel.
• Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and Google Workspace applications.
• Superb time management and strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with additional foreign languages preferred.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, which includes working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including continuous sitting, walking, and standing, as well as frequently lifting 10lbs and occasionally lifting up to 25lbs.
• Approachable demeanour with a passion for customer service.
