Day Shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 2pm-10:30pm
- Friday: 12pm - 6pm
The Role Due to ongoing growth, we're seeking experienced Forklift Operators / Production Loaders to join a busy Brisbane manufacturing facility.
Working primarily with steel roofing, walling products and sheet metal materials, you'll play a key role in loading, unloading, moving stock, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating forklifts to move steel coils, sheet metal, and finished products
- Loading and unloading trucks with oversized steel products
- Supporting production lines by feeding and removing materials
- Completing load restraint and strapping duties
- Loading steel coils onto manufacturing equipment
- Operating gantry cranes (training provided)
- Working closely with dispatch and production teams to meet daily targets
- Maintaining safe work practices and a clean work environment
What We're Looking For:
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Previous experience operating forklifts in manufacturing, transport, warehouse, yard, or steel environments
- Experience handling long-length, oversized, or awkward loads
- Knowledge of load restraint and safe loading practices
- Strong focus on safety and teamwork
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on duties
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to morning shift work
- Gantry crane experience highly regarded but not essential
