Forklift Driver Freezer Environment

About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced High Reach Forklift Driver to join our client's team in Banyo. This role is ideal for a reliable and safety-conscious operator who is comfortable working in a freezer environment with temperatures ranging from -18°C to -21°C.

You will be responsible for operating a high reach forklift and assisting with warehouse duties to ensure the safe and efficient movement of stock.
Key Responsibilities

• Operate a high reach forklift safely and efficiently.
• Move, stack, and store stock within the freezer warehouse.
• Pick and replenish stock as required.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when needed.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

Requirements

• Previous high reach forklift experience is essential.
• Valid and current LF forklift licence.
• Comfortable working in a freezer environment at -18°C to -21°C.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transport to and from the Banyo site is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

• $34.96 per hour base rate
• $0.85 per hour freezer allowance
• Total: $35.81 per hour
• Consistent four-day work schedule, Monday to Thursday.
• Afternoon shift from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
