- Full-time: $82,859 to $90,868 per annum/Casual: $54.76 to $60.05 p/hour
- Up to 12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
Mandatory requirements: Cert IV in Communities or approved equivalent or ability to undertake the Cert, Drivers Licence, Provide First Aid certificate.
- Develop, implement and evaluate support plans to assist clients to improve and maintain life skills increasing positive behaviours and improving quality of life.
- Supporting clients to develop skills required for independent everyday living.
- Observe clients who are at risk to self and others, identify and provide relevant information surrounding risk concerns.
- Support each client to achieve the goals within their IDP.
- Implement treatment programs to address offending behaviours, and Implement habilitation programs.
- Support clients to develop personal routines and lifestyles to meet their individual needs, abilities and preferences.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and review of risk assessments, health plans, medication plans, individual development plans, limited community treatment, and transition plans.
- Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and undertake administrative tasks and data collection.
- Ensure the safety of clients, staff and visitors including observations, searches, duress response and participate in managing challenging and aggressive behaviour.
- It is vital to have the ability to be emotionally resilient in achieving objectives and coping effectively with challenges and incidents.
- Support clients to access the community.
- Adhere to legislation, policies, procedures and practices and work within the legislative framework.
- Adhere to decisions made by Operational Team Leaders and Senior LeadershipTeam.
- Identifying, developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality of support to clients.
- Support clients with medicines according to directions from a qualified medicalpractitioner.
