Finance Analyst - 6 month fixed contract
- Support the integration of a new division into the broader business.
- Prepare financial analysis and reporting, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Engage with stakeholders to improve financial processes and performance.
We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Finance Analyst to join a successful organisation at an exciting time of growth and transformation. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the integration and coordination of a newly established division into the broader business.
Working closely with Finance, Accounting and operational stakeholders, you will support the transition by ensuring financial processes, reporting and controls are aligned, while helping to establish effective ways of working across the new division.
About the Role
- Preparing sales, customer and product performance analysis
- Reviewing monthly P&Ls and providing meaningful commentary and insights
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and demand planning
- Preparing monthly inventory analysis and stock provisions
- Managing revenue, billing and rebate analysis and reconciliations
- Identifying key financial risks, opportunities and performance drivers
- Preparing regular management reports and financial analysis
- Supporting month-end activities, including journals and reconciliations
- Partnering with Finance, Accounting and operational stakeholders
- Supporting business cases and financial analysis for Capex and Opex initiatives
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting and business performance
About You
We are looking for someone who is hands-on, commercially focused, analytical - loves working with data and confident engaging with stakeholders across different areas of the business.
- 3+ years' experience in a Finance Analyst, Management Accountant, FP&A or similar role
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes
- The ability to translate financial data into clear and actionable insights
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience within retail, FMCG, consumer products or a similar industry will be highly regarded but is not essential.
This is a great opportunity, offering a 6 month fixed term contract, ideally to commence as soon as possible.
