Compass Group are seeking Perth-based Kitchen Maintenance Cleaning Technicians, for an immediate FIFO roster. Competitive salary on offer, with the role offering $98,055 Gross + Allowances + Superannuation, paid on a fortnightly basis.

• Flying out from Perth, to various WA Remote Mining Sites

THE ROLE

As a FIFO Kitchen Maintenance Tech, reporting to the Kitchen Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining kitchen exhaust systems (range hoods, ducts, filters, and fans) across multiple remote mining sites. This role requires a strong understanding of fire safety & hygiene compliance in a commercial setting.

• Employed by Compass Group, working to maintain established mine site accommodations
• Manage cleaning schedules & inventory of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and PPE in collaboration with site kitchen and FM teams.
• Complete compliance checklists and photographic evidence on completed work.
• Travel between remote sites as required.

THE PERSON

• Background in commercial kitchen or industrial cleaning (hood/exhaust cleaning preferred)
• Physically fit and able to work in hot, greasy conditions
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety, fire and hygiene standards
• Valid WA Driver’s Licence & White Card
• Police Clearance within 12 months
• Confined Space Entry & Working at Heights (or we can provide)
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical
• IKECA or similar certification (desirable but not essential)
