Field Service Technician

Can you work independently and carry out major repairs on earthmoving equipment with minimal assistance and accurately diagnose faults? Are you looking to join an OEM known for high performance machinery? Liebherr Earthmoving Division has a new opportunity for an experienced and motivated technician to be based in Yatala. Must live within 40 mins of Yatala.

In this role you will operate in the field across Brisbane and regional Queensland, servicing, maintaining, and repairing a diverse fleet—including excavators, material handlers, and wheel loaders, to support our expanding customer network

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical systems
• Major and minor services
• Maintenance and component replacements
• Fabrication and new machine build as required
• Complete service reporting and manufacturers documentation
• Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field
• Dealing directly with Key Customers
• Adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace

About you

• Must live within 40mins of Yatala
• Trade qualification in Diesel or Mobile Plant Mechanics
• Strong diagnostic skills and fault-finding ability
• Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work over-time as required
• A current driver’s license
• Forklift and Air conditioning accreditation advantageous
• Basic Word and Excel abilities
• Commitment to maintain, and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace
