Family and friends reference group members contribute ongoingly to and improvement of headspace Maitland service provision.
The headspace Maitland Family and Friends Reference Group is made up of a diverse group of people with lived experience of supporting a young person or people, including those who have experienced mental health and adolescent challenges.
Members have the oppourtunity to be involved in:
- Local and national projects
- Provide feedback in relation to headspace services and organisational representation
- Resource development
- Education and training for both staff and young
- Marketing promotion and community awareness
- Policy advocacy
