A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Facility Manager – Aged Care to lead a residential aged care home in Bendigo, VIC, with a well-established not-for-profit provider committed to compassionate care, community values and improving the lives of older Australians.

The Role
As Facility Manager, you’ll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations, clinical standards and performance of a residential aged care home. With an established and well-supported workforce, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on leading your people, strengthening clinical governance and ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall operations of the home, ensuring high standards of resident care and service delivery.
• Mentor and develop clinical and non-clinical teams, fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture.
• Oversee clinical governance, compliance and quality improvement, ensuring the home meets regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgets, occupancy, workforce planning and operational performance.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff and external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance resident outcomes, team engagement and the overall performance of the home.

About You

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (essential).
• Previous experience leading a residential aged care home, or strong clinical leadership experience with the capability to step into a Facility Manager position.
• Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, staffing, operational risks and service performance.
• A confident, approachable leader who can engage, motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a genuine commitment to resident wellbeing and person-centred care.
