About the Role
We are working with multiple established civil contractors seeking experienced Civil Estimators and Senior Estimators for opportunities across Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Southeast Queensland and regional Queensland.
With a range of secured projects and upcoming tenders, these opportunities offer exposure to TMR roads, highways, water infrastructure, FRP, bulk earthworks, piling, subdivisions and major civil construction.
Depending on the contractor and position, you'll manage tenders from initial review and quantity take-offs through to pricing, subcontractor negotiations and final submissions. Whether you're looking to take on larger projects, gain more autonomy or progress into senior estimating, we have opportunities across local SEQ positions, regional FIFO arrangements and relocation options.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates for major civil infrastructure tenders
- Review engineering drawings, specifications and tender scopes
- Complete quantity take-offs and detailed cost breakdowns
- Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Develop tender strategies, methodologies and project programs
- Identify cost savings and value engineering opportunities
- Coordinate tender reviews and final submissions
- Support project handovers following successful tender awards
Skills & Experience We're Looking For:
- Experience in civil estimating or senior estimating roles
- Background in roads, TMR, water, FRP, earthworks, subdivisions or civil infrastructure
- Strong understanding of civil construction methods and costs
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documents
- Proven capability in quantity take-offs, pricing and tender preparation
- Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder communication skills
