About the role:  

This is a unique opportunity to join the team based in Parkes suited to a school leaver or someone looking for a career change. The position is for a highly motivated and hands on person that would like to enter into a career in LPG & Logistics. The pathway will commence in terminal operations and progress into a Cylinder Exchange Drivers role. On offer is enterprise qualifications in LPG terminal operations, DG qualifications, Forklift licencing and MR upgrade to the successful candidate.  This role can progress into an LPG Tanker driver role and other opportunities of interest.

Key responsibilities: 

·         Performing terminal tasks ie, filling gas cylinders, loading/unloading trucks and housekeeping.

·         Ensuring that deliveries are made in an accurate and timely manner while providing exceptional customer service onsite

·         Demonstrating effective time management skills in relation to terminal logistics and daily tasks, including working autonomously

·         Contribute to safety reviews & activities including; HSE Meetings, training & paperwork requirements

What will you bring?

·         Reliability and a ‘can do attitude’

·         A current valid Car Licence with a willingness to upgrade to MR

·         Current Forklift Licence (Desirtable)

·         Physical fitness and ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including repetitive lifting and manoeuvring cylinders 

·         Communication skills and a proven track record in customer service focused delivery roles

·         Commitment to safety culture with a safety-first mind set
