KB Community Care Pty Ltd is seeking a caring and capable Enrolled Nurse to join our team in Geelong West. This is an excellent opportunity for a nursing professional who enjoys working closely with participants and providing practical clinical support within a community care environment.

The successful candidate will provide nursing care and support in accordance with individual care plans, clinical requirements and professional standards. The role will involve working collaboratively with participants, families, support workers and other healthcare professionals to support participant health, safety and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care and clinical support to participants in accordance with individual care plans and scope of practice.
  • Monitor participants' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professional.
  • Assist with medication administration, clinical observations, wound care and other nursing procedures as required.
  • Support participants with personal care, mobility and daily living activities while promoting dignity and independence.
  • Maintain accurate progress notes, medication records and clinical documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with participants, families, support workers and healthcare professionals.
  • Follow infection control, workplace safety, NDIS and organisational requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma of Nursing or equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
  • Relevant nursing experience in disability, community care, aged care or a similar healthcare setting is highly regarded.
  • Sound knowledge of medication administration, clinical observations and person-centred care.
  • Strong communication, organisation and documentation skills.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • Current Australian driver's licence is highly regarded.
