About the Role
As the Engagement Coordinator, you'll act as a key link between Amplar Health's Mental Health Operations team and local service providers across Southern and Western NSW to strengthen referral pathways, enhance service coordination, and support positive consumer experiences.
You will build and maintain key stakeholder relationships, provide local insights to inform service planning and quality improvement, and work collaboratively with our Mental Health teams to ensure consumers can access the right support at the right time.
This is a part time (0.7 FTE) fixed term opportunity until end of March 2027. Ideally you will be based in Sydney or Illawarra region with the ability to visit service providers periodically.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local mental health and health service providers.
- Develop and improve referral pathways to support seamless consumer care.
- Collaborate with Mental Health Operations and Customer Success teams to identify opportunities for service improvement.
- Contribute insights and local expertise to support quality improvement and service planning.
- Support an effective consumer journey by helping the Mental Health team connect consumers with the most appropriate services.
About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about collaboration, relationship building, and improving health outcomes.
- Background in healthcare and/or mental health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary or cross-functional teams.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with excel spreadsheets.
Desirable
- Experience coordinating services or managing contracts.
- An understanding of mental health service systems and referral pathways.
