Hays Cairns is partnering with a well-established local trade business delivering quality electrical and air conditioning services across residential and light commercial projects throughout the Cairns region. With a strong reputation for workmanship and customer service, the business is entering its busiest period of the year and looking to strengthen its team with an experienced and motivated Electrician.
Your new role
As a qualified Electrician, you will work across a variety of residential and light commercial sites, completing electrical installations, maintenance, repairs, and air conditioning work. This role will see you starting your day from the Smithfield office, collecting job packs and materials before heading out to site.
Key responsibilities include:
- Residential and light commercial electrical installations
- Split system air conditioning installations
- Fault-finding, repairs and maintenance
- Compliance and testing work
- Providing exceptional customer service on-site
- Working collaboratively within a small, close-knit team
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety
What you'll need to succeed
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence
- Proven experience in residential and/or light commercial environments
- Current Driving Licence
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
