Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead and coordinate the site's electrical maintenance function within a well-established manufacturing and production business based in Kalbar.
About the Role
This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance function, supporting the team and ensuring production equipment remains safe, reliable and operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing direction, coaching and support to maintain a safe, productive and accountable team.
- Plan and coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability and minimise production downtime.
- Coordinate daily maintenance priorities with Production, ensuring work is completed efficiently and equipment issues are addressed promptly.
- Provide technical leadership and support to the maintenance team, including assisting with complex electrical faults and troubleshooting.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with company requirements for safety, quality and environmental standards.
- Monitor maintenance performance, provide regular updates to Management and drive continuous improvement across the maintenance function.
The Candidate
To be successful, you'll ideally have:
- Trade qualification in Electrical, with experience in industrial, manufacturing, automation or FMCG environments.
- Previous experience in a maintenance supervisory, team leader or senior electrical maintenance role.
- Proven experience leading and coordinating a maintenance team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, PLC systems, industrial automation and production equipment.
- Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work closely with Production and Operations.
- A strong focus on safety, equipment reliability, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
