Ready to move beyond traditional electrical design?

This is an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to play a key role in the delivery of a major infrastructure project, sitting across engineering, procurement, constructability and construction readiness.

Based at a dedicated facility in Goulburn, NSW, you'll make sure electrical equipment is procured, inspected, tested, preserved and prepared before it reaches site — helping eliminate rework, delays and construction issues before they happen.

What you'll be doing

• Provide electrical engineering support across procurement and vendor packages
• Review specifications, drawings, datasheets and supplier submissions
• Lead technical queries, deviations and vendor clarifications
• Carry out constructability reviews to ensure equipment can actually be installed efficiently
• Identify opportunities for preassembly and off-site works
• Oversee inspection, testing and preservation of electrical equipment
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, suppliers, trades, logistics and site construction teams
• Identify and resolve technical issues before equipment is dispatched to site

What we're looking for We're looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer with experience on major projects across areas such as:

• Power generation
• Hydroelectric
• Mining
• Major infrastructure
• Industrial projects
• Renewable energy

You'll ideally have experience across electrical procurement, vendor management, construction/installation or commissioning, with a practical understanding of equipment such as transformers, switchgear, motors, cable containment and earthing systems.

Most importantly, you'll be an engineer who understands how things actually get built, not just how they look on a drawing.
