Casual HC Drivers – Mackay (Paget)

We’re looking for experienced HC Drivers to join our Mackay operation on a casual basis, supporting our pick-up and delivery requirements across the region.

A range of day, afternoon and night shifts may be available, including weekday and weekend work depending on operational requirements.

What’s The Role:

• Safely operate an HC vehicle to complete daily pick-up and delivery runs

• Deliver freight on time and without damage

• Load, unload and secure freight

• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report defects

• Follow road transport legislation, fatigue management and company procedures

• Complete delivery documentation and electronic records

• Provide professional customer service

• Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle

• Work with the operations team to deliver excellent service

What You’ll Bring:

• Current Heavy Combination (HC) Licence

• Demonstrated experience in pick-up and delivery or general freight operations

• Safe driving record and strong commitment to safety and compliance

• Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and fatigue management requirements

• Ability to safely load, unload and secure freight

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Confidence using electronic proof of delivery and transport system

• A reliable, professional attitude with a strong work ethic

• Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
