An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced drafter working at a billboard and signage company, you can make the role sound more technical and project-focused by highlighting structural detailing, fabrication drawings and coordination with stakeholders.
Your new role
Responsible for producing detailed fabrication and construction drawings for large-scale billboard structures and signage installations. Worked closely with engineers, project managers and fabrication teams to develop accurate 3D models, shop drawings and installation documentation, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and project specifications.
What you'll need to succeed
As a Drafter, you will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements. You will work closely with engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality drafting solutions while meeting project deadlines.Key responsibilities include:
- Producing detailed drawings and technical documentation.
- Developing and maintaining 3D models and drafting standards.
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure design accuracy.
- Managing drawing revisions and project documentation.
- Supporting project delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
What you'll get in return
Minimum 5 years' experience in a drafting role within Australia.Strong proficiency in drafting and technical documentation.Experience using Tekla software will be highly advantageous.Ability to interpret engineering and construction drawings.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.What you need to do now
