Churchill Services of Australia is seeking experienced Diesel Motor Mechanics to join their operations. The successful candidates will play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and servicing their fleet of heavy vehicles and mobile plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy vehicles including Rigids, Agitator Trucks, Volvo, Isuzu, and Hino models.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Perform routine maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and hydraulic systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, legislation, and accreditation requirements.
- Provide technical advice and support to colleagues.
- Be available for occasional field work, breakdowns, and overtime.
Requirements:
- Trade qualifications in diesel mechanics (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with heavy vehicles and mobile plant.
- Demonstrated experience in fleet maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Heavy Vehicle license advantageous.
- Medically fit, able to undertake pre-employment assessment including drug and alcohol screening.
