Green by Nature is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our finance leadership team.
Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, this role offers a unique opportunity to operate as the second-in-command within the finance function, providing exposure to senior leadership, complex accounting matters, business transformation initiatives and strategic decision-making.
As Finance Manager, you will lead a capable accounting team while taking ownership of the Group's financial reporting, statutory compliance and audit processes. Beyond maintaining financial integrity and governance, you will play a key role in driving finance transformation initiatives that support the continued growth and evolution of the business across the Group.
This position is ideally suited to an ambitious finance professional seeking to broaden their leadership experience, influence organisational outcomes and develop the capabilities required for future senior finance leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a team comprising two Financial Accountants and one Senior Accountant.
- Oversee the month-end close process and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting across the Group.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly Board reporting, ensuring clear, accurate and insightful analysis.
- Manage statutory reporting obligations, annual financial statement preparation and external audit requirements.
- Strengthen financial controls, balance sheet governance and accounting compliance.
- Partner with operational and corporate stakeholders to deliver meaningful financial insights and support business decision-making.
- Contribute to and lead finance-related transformation initiatives, including process improvement, system optimisation and automation projects.
- Support the standardisation of financial processes and enhancement of reporting capabilities across the Group.
- Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and professional development within the finance team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- CA or CPA qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Senior Financial Accountant or similar leadership role.
- Strong technical accounting expertise, including statutory reporting, audit and financial control environments.
- Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams.
- Experience operating within a complex, multi-entity organisation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to process improvement and organisational change.
