Candidate: Food/FMCG/Pharmaceutical experience needed
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established food manufacturing operation on a permanent night shift roster.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on fitter looking for a competitive salary, consistent night shift hours and an excellent work-life balance with a 7-day fortnight roster.
The Role
- Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance across production machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and minimise production downtime.
- Maintain conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors and processing equipment.
- Complete inspections, repairs and equipment servicing.
- Work closely with production teams to improve equipment reliability.
- Ensure all maintenance is completed safely and efficiently.
About You
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter.
- Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing (food or FMCG highly regarded).
- Strong breakdown and preventative maintenance skills.
- Experience working with production and processing machinery.
- Ability to work autonomously on night shift.
- Strong focus on safety and reliability.
