SASH Central Coast Emergency Nurses play a pivotal role in assisting Emergency Vets in the day-to-day operations of our Emergency and Critical Care department. We are looking for passionate and eager to learn nurses who are excited by being challenged and who want to learn from our experienced team of nurses and vets.

We’re offering full time and casual opportunities, with a variety of shifts available including weekends and overnights to support our 24/7 ECC department.

Who are we looking for? 

We’re seeking compassionate nurses who can work independently with a reliable, adaptable and proactive approach to your work.

  • A keen interest in Emergency work and a desire to work closely with our patients throughout their inpatient journey. 
  • An ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Confidence working in a busy environment
  • Experience in General Anaesthesia & ventilation is desirable but not essential. 

  
To be considered for this position, applicants will demonstrate: 

  • Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing 
  • A minimum of 2 years, full-time experience as a qualified nurse 
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts, including overnights and weekends
  • Previous experience in emergency would be highly regarded but is not essential.
