Our Central Coast hospital is growing our dermatology service and were eager to welcome a Part-Time Dermatology Nurse.
We're offering ongoing Wednesday and Thursday shifts offering either 8 or 10 hour shifts.
  
About the Role 

As a Dermatology Nurse at SASH, you'll support both out-patient consultations and in-patient procedures. 
Out-patient consultations include summarising medical records, restraint for examination, assisting with cytological testing, dispending medication and client communication/follow ups.  
In-patient procedures will include allergy testing and the maintenance of allergy testing kits, sedation and general anaesthesia, CT scans, ear flushes, and skin biopsies. 
 
  
Who we are Looking For: 

  • Someone with a keen interest in Dermatology and the desire to work closely with patients throughout their entire SASH journey 
  • Strong anaesthesia skills, including induction, intubation, monitoring and recovery to support with in-patient procedures 
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks 
  • Confidence in a fast-paced clinical environment 
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to support other departments when needed 

To be considered for this position, applicants must have: 

  • Completed a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing 
  • A minimum of 2 years, full-time experience working as a qualified vet nurse 
  • Commitment to ongoing permanent Wednesday and Thursday shifts
