Golding is currently recruiting for a Specialist Commercial Analyst to join our team at Meandu Mine. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional to play a key role in supporting project performance through financial analysis, commercial leadership, contract management, and strategic decision-making. Working closely with operational leaders and corporate stakeholders, you will help drive commercial outcomes and provide valuable insights that contribute to project success.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting, financial analysis, variance reporting, and project forecasting to support operational decision-making.
- Manage project claims, budgets and cost control activities while providing commercial advice to operational teams.
- Support contract administration and compliance activities, including interpretation of contract terms, risk identification, stakeholder engagement, and resolution of commercial issues.
- Conduct financial modelling and performance analysis to identify risks, trends, and opportunities that improve project profitability and commercial outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement across commercial systems, processes, and reporting.
Capability Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial analysis with a sound understanding of Activity Based Costing, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and contract management within mining, construction, or heavy industry environments.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide practical commercial recommendations.
- Sound understanding of contractual obligations, risk management, and financial governance principles.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience working with SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel essential and experience with XERAS would be advantageous.
