With a supportive practice environment and established infrastructure in place, they are looking for a Psychologist to join their team as an independent contractor, with the flexibility to build a caseload that suits their availability and professional interests.

About the role:

This is a flexible contractor opportunity for a registered Psychologist looking to provide psychological services on a per-client/session basis.

You will have the opportunity to manage your own availability and gradually build your caseload, while working from a professional clinic environment with the option to provide telehealth services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide individual psychological therapy to clients across a range of presentations
• Conduct psychological assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation and case notes
• Liaise with GPs and other health professionals where required, including in relation to Mental Health Care Plans
• Deliver services in line with AHPRA, privacy and professional practice requirements
• Provide client-centred, evidence-based psychological support

Requirements:

• Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
• General or Clinical endorsement preferred
• Current Medicare provider number, or eligibility to obtain one
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Current National Police Check
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A compassionate, client-centred approach to care
• Experience working with presentations such as anxiety, depression, trauma and other common mental health concerns is desirable
