About the opportunity  

As our Retail Postage Sorter, you’ll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you’d expect, plenty of mail and parcels comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day – and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.  

You’ll be 

• Manually sorting all mail and parcels arriving at the workplace 

Role Details 

• Looking for flexible work with great pay and variety? Join our relief team as a Casual Retail Postage Sorter, supporting multiple locations across the Sunshine Coast and Noosa region
• $35.83 / hour (starting rate) for approx. 3 months, increasing to $38.31 hour + 12% Superannuation. (Junior rates apply to those under 21 during training).
• Paid, supportive training on commencement, Monday - Friday, 3 hours each day on a rotating roster
• After training, shifts may be scheduled in advanced, or you may be called in at short notice, there is no guarantee of hours
• You will need to be fully available, Monday - Friday, between 6 am – 5 pm
• Shifts are rostered at Nambour, Noosa Civic, Noosa Heads, Sunshine Coast Bus Hub, Sunshine Plaza and Tewantin, please consider the travel when applying

About you 

• You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves working in a team environment.  
• You’re motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community.   

You’ll also need to 

• Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting  
• Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly and stand for your shift
