Electrician Switchboard Manufacturing

We are currently seeking an experienced A-Class Electrician to join a well-established electrical manufacturer specialising in switchboard production. This is a workshop-based opportunity suited to an electrician who enjoys detailed electrical work and is looking to move away from site-based construction.
Your new roleYou will be involved in the manufacture and assembly of electrical switchboards, including:

• Wiring and fitting electrical switchboards and control panels
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
• Installation of electrical components and equipment
• Cable termination, labelling and testing
• Fault finding and quality checking completed boards
• Working closely with tradespeople and workshop staff
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

What you'll need to succeed

• Current South Australian A-Class Electrical Licence
• Experience with switchboards, control panels or electrical manufacturing highly regarded
• Strong ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
• High attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to work effectively within a workshop environment
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
