About the Role:
Lucky White Goods Pty Ltd is an expanding retail and appliance enterprise operating multi-site warehouses and physical storefronts across AUSTRALIA. We are seeking a dedicated, full-time Systems Administrator to oversee, secure, and optimize our growing internal IT infrastructure, network architecture, and database environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, configure, and maintain corporate servers, cloud environments, and core local area networks (LAN/WAN) connecting our head office and warehouse locations.
- Implement and manage robust network security protocols, firewalls, user access controls, and data encryption policies to safeguard retail transaction records.
- Oversee regular system backups, disaster recovery protocols, and software patch deployments to prevent downtime across operations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex hardware, software, or connectivity escalations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network maps, system configurations, and security assets.
Key Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Completion of a tertiary qualification (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a closely related field (Master’s degree specializing in Network Security is highly regarded).
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of professional experience in systems administration, network infrastructure maintenance, or IT environment support.
- Strong working knowledge of firewall management, active directory, server administration, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage multi-site technical requirements in a fast-paced retail or logistics environment.
