Scientist (Biomarker)

- The purpose of this role is to provide assistance in the development, validation and conduct of immunology assays to comply with relevant standards, regulatory guidelines and SOP requirements.

Duties:
- Conducting immunological assays for research, preclinical and clinical studies
- Operating and assisting in the development and validation of biological assays, including ELISA
- Handling of clinical samples
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines
- General laboratory housekeeping
- Ordering and maintaining supplies
- Cleaning, maintenance and calibration of lab equipment
About you:
- Tertiary qualification of honours or higher in Biological Sciences or a related discipline
- 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in conducting, researching, developing and validating immunological assays – in particular ELISA
- Experience with handling clinical samples and working in a quality-controlled environment (such as ISO 17025, GLP or similar)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
