Construction Project Manager – Hospitality Melbourne | Client-Side | National Hospitality Group

Lead the delivery of exciting hospitality projects across Australia We are partnering with a highly regarded national hospitality property developer and operator to appoint an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their Melbourne team.

This is a great opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys being close to the action and wants to take genuine ownership of projects from concept through to completion.

You’ll be working across a diverse portfolio of hospitality, food & beverage, hotel and property projects, working closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, builders and operators to deliver high-quality projects in live environments.

The Role Reporting into the development/project team, you will be responsible for managing projects across the full lifecycle, including:

• Managing projects from early design and planning through to construction and handover
• Appointing and managing consultants, contractors and suppliers
• Managing budgets, programmes, procurement and project risks
• Coordinating design development and construction documentation
• Managing stakeholder relationships across development, operations and external partners
• Overseeing construction delivery and ensuring projects are delivered to the required quality, programme and budget
• Working across multiple projects and locations throughout Australia

About You We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager with:

• A background in construction, project management, development or a related discipline
• Proven experience delivering projects from inception through to completion
• Strong contractor and consultant management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
• Strong commercial and financial awareness
• The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• A hands-on, proactive approach and the confidence to make decisions

Hospitality experience would be advantageous, but experience delivering complex commercial, retail, fit-out or other client-side projects will also be considered.
